In October 2020, the management at Parrot Island Waterpark were notified that the park had won two awards during the World Waterpark Association Annual Wave Review Awards. The Wave Review Awards are given out annually by the World Waterpark Association to honor excellence and creativity in marketing and advertising in support of a water leisure attraction.
The WWA’s 40th Annual Symposium & Trade Show was held virtually due to Covid-19. Parrot Island Waterpark was one of the waterparks that received multiple awards this year including Best Brochure and Best Website.
“We’re so honored to win these awards” says Kyle Taylor, General Manager, Parrot Island Waterpark. “This was a difficult season and being recognized for our efforts is very uplifting.” The winning advertising pieces were the waterpark’s 2020 season brochure design and new website.
“This is such an honor to be recognized for our work” said Chad Jones, Creative Director and owner at Rightmind Advertising. “We’re proud of the relationship we have with Parrot Island. This year was challenging but we’re looking forward to exciting things for the 2021 season.”
