The Old Fort Days Rodeo has a long and rich history in the Fort Smith region. Since 1934 this annual event has drawn cowboys and cowgirls from all over the world. The rodeo was one of Rightmind’s first clients in 2006. The organization needed help with their messaging to the public. Prior to our involvement, advertising efforts were left to individual media outlets to prepare ads. The rodeo’s branding was all over the place. The tradition was still there, but their image needed help. We worked with all involved to establish consistent branding. Today, all advertising has a consistent style across all media platforms, with extra emphasis on digital advertising and reaching a new younger audience. Each year we work closely with sponsors, media and the rodeo committee to maintain continued consistency. The results have been increased earned (free) media, as well as more relevant paid media. That attention to brand and media management has helped bottom line revenues increase and stay more consistent.
